Infinidat Wins “Flash Storage Solution of the Year” Designation in 6th Annual Data Breakthrough Awards Program
Prestigious International Awards Program Recognizes Outstanding Data Technology Products and Companies
Infinidat, a leading provider of enterprise storage solutions, today announced that the InfiniBox™ SSA G4 has been selected as winner of the “Flash Storage Solution of the Year” award in the 6th annual Data Breakthrough Awards program conducted by Data Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global data technology market today.
The InfiniBox SSA G4 delivers up to 2.5X the performance of the 3rd generation of the InfiniBox SSA. The InfiniBox G4 series introduced a new set of foundational elements, powered by InfuzeOS™, Infinidat’s software defined storage OS. InfiniBox SSA G4 and InfiniBox® G4 controllers are now built on the AMD EPYC server architecture, utilizing a single socket 64 core CPU along with PCIe 5 bus infrastructure. PCI Express 5.0 supports faster devices with large bandwidth and fast I/O speeds, and latency performance is as low as 35 microseconds.
New controller nodes powered by AMD EPYC CPUs add 31% more cores per controller (x3), and power is reduced by 20% per core. Infinidat’s flash SSA G4 has available capacity from hundreds of TBs to multi petabytes with full enterprise capabilities.
Breakthrough features and functionality include InfuzeOS, which provides a three-way active controller architecture and Neural Cache; robust SLA-based guarantees, including InfiniSafe® Cyber Guarantees on immutability, and a data recovery time of one minute or less; InfiniSafe enhanced with Automated Cyber Protection to reduce threat windows; and InfiniSafe Cyber Detection to detect compromised data with 99.99% accuracy.

The F1400T InfiniBox SSA G4 family has also been expanded with 14RU form factor that fits into a customer's industry standard racks and starts at 86TB and scales up to 3PB of effective storage capacity. Infinidat has also introduced a new lifecycle management controller upgrade program − InfiniVerse Mobius − allowing upgrades to the controllers, extending their life.
