Simon joins INFINIDAT as Chief Financial Officer, Cancilla joins the company as Vice President of Business Development, and Kenniston joins as Vice President of Product Marketing.

Simon brings over 15 years of experience in finance and operations management with both start-ups and global multi-billion dollar organizations. He has a track record of streamlining business operations to drive growth and increase efficiency, productivity and profit. Prior to joining INFINIDAT, Simon served as the CFO of IBM Israel, where he directed a team of 100 managers and employees and demonstrated his skills and leadership in management, finance, mergers and acquisitions.

Simon was previously the CFO at XIV, where he prepared and led the company during due diligence to a successful acquisition by IBM. He brings a broad and diverse educational background to his role, with advanced degrees in accounting, law and computer engineering.

Cancilla possesses over 25 years of industry-recognized expertise and accomplishments in storage technology and enterprise systems. He has demonstrated strong P&L results and operational excellence in organizations ranging from emerging companies with early-to-market products to established companies with large business lines. He has built expertise in several organizational disciplines such as business line ownership, sales, product marketing, customer support/engineering, product development, global supply chain, and quality.

Prior to joining INFINIDAT, Cancilla was co-founder and CEO of Robin Systems, where he led a start-up team of top tier industry professionals developing virtualization and management software for Big Data infrastructure. Previously, he was a Vice President in IBM’s Storage Systems brand, leading the Enterprise Disk and Flash Optimized Solutions businesses.

Kenniston is a long-time leader in the storage technology industry with the consistent ability to define storage technology vision and effective go-to-market strategies that have led to dramatic revenue growth and key acquisitions for employers during his career.

Kenniston has served as an Executive in the role of Storage Technology Evangelist in his last three positions. He was previously Storage Technology Evangelist with Catalogic Software, a leading software-only provider of copy data management, Business Line Executive at IBM for Data Protection and Vice President of Technology at Storwize, provider of real-time compression technology. His prior roles have also included serving as technology consultant to the CTO of EMC, Vice President of Corporate Development for Avamar Technologies, Senior Corporate Strategist for Iron Mountain/Connected Corporation, Storage Technology Analyst for Enterprise Storage Group, and Director of Technical Support for Veritas Software.

“Nir, Bob, and Steve are seasoned technology and storage industry veterans with broad financial, operations and marketing skill sets and experience working in both startups and large, established organizations,” said Moshe Yanai, CEO at INFINIDAT. “Their expertise and leadership will be instrumental in further executing our vision, optimizing operations and guiding business strategy that will drive growth for INFINIDAT.”

“INFINIDAT is achieving impressive growth with its proven storage innovation enabling companies to realize ultra-high performance with seven 9’s of reliability while saving a boatload in capital and operating expenses,” said Simon. “I welcome this opportunity to spearhead INFINIDAT’s financial operations and play a role in continuing its leadership in next-generation enterprise storage.”

“INFINIDAT is poised to transform the future of the storage industry and how companies manage their huge and ever-increasing volumes of data,” said Cancilla. “I’m thrilled to join the INFINIDAT leadership team in bringing the company to the next level of market expansion and leading its continued success.”

“During my tenure in storage, I have spoken to thousands of end users who care about the technologies they are investing in, but more importantly, about the business outcomes they are achieving by taking advantage of new technology,” said Kenniston. “I am incredibly excited about the opportunity that lies in front of INFINIDAT and being a part of its continued growth and evolution.”
