VMworld 2016 – Tuesday

Two days down, one to go. Another very interesting day here at VMworld 2016.

We opened the show this morning with a Facebook LiveStream that can be found here. We have done a few of these and if you would like to watch it each morning at 10am PT to see what we will be doing in the booth for the day, be sure to turn on live notifications in the stream.

Today we had a few hundred people stop by our booth, we did over 200 demonstrations and had three customer presentations and a partner presentation, and interviewed three of INFINIDAT’s partners on the show floor. You will be able to see some of the presentations and interviews on the INFINIDAT YouTube channel a week or so after the show.

Partners we interviewed were Jack Rondoni, VP of Storage Networking for Brocade, John Mao, Director of Business Development for Stratoscale, Don Van Valin, Sales Manager at APTARE.

I was told by 80% of SEs on the floor today that our tag line – “Faster Than Flash and Easy on Cash” is a real attention grabber. Prospect are coming up and asking “how can that be” and as soon as we tell them, they see how we are able to do it and when they hear the price – the first thing they say is, “now that is awesome”.

Like yesterday, our customers, DSW, Bluelock and a large insurance company, spoke in our booth to talk about their successes with the INFINIDAT solution. Each one spoke about how they evaluated the INFINIDAT solution against an all-flash array using real world workloads. In every case, the Inifinibox outperformed the all-flash arrays tested. You can come by the booth and talk to these customers and ask them how they their experience has been with INFINIDAT, they are all happy to share.

There has been a lot of talk today about cloud. We had service provider partners speak in our booth, Bluelock and interviewed a new partner, Stratoscale. More and more customers and prospects for the cloud are asking about how we can help them, both build out a private / hybrid cloud and how our partners can help them get to the cloud faster. Please stop by the booth and chat with the folks. They are happy to tell you how they can help.

Bose Headphones

We want to remind you to come by our booth #2211 and get your badge scanned to earn a chance to win the Bose, QC30, Noise Canceling, Wireless, In-ear headphones.

Finally, you may remember that each day we are having a selfie contest. Folks take a creative selfie with the InfiniBox and post it on twitter with the hash tags #VMworld and #InfiniBox. If your selfie is chosen as one of the most creative, we will DM you on twitter and you can come by and pick up your gift. Each day we will give away five, $25 DSW gift cards. Only 2 people participated today and here are the winners:
