Adrian Flores-Serafin brings 20 years’ experience helping enterprises address their most complex application and information management challenges

INFINIDAT, a leading provider of enterprise data storage solutions, today announced that seasoned storage sales leader, Adrian Flores-Serafin has been named the General Manager for Latin America (Mexico, Central America and South America). Flores-Serafin will oversee region-wide operations, including sales, partnerships and implementations of the InfiniBox™ enterprise-proven data storage array. INFINIDAT opened an office in Mexico City, Mexico in 2015.

Flores-Serafin has close to 20 years’ experience in technical sales leadership. He brings a consistent track record of over-achieving sales quotes. He also possesses broad knowledge of global markets and extensive experience working in Latin America specifically. Before assuming the role of General Manager in Latin America, Flores-Serafin was INFINIDAT’s Technical Sales Director.

“Adrian is one of the data storage industry’s top technical experts and most knowledgeable on enterprise storage trends,” said Steve Sullivan, vice president of North American sales at INFINIDAT. “As a native and long-time resident of Latin America, he has a thorough understanding of the storage market there and the specific challenges of the region’s enterprises, such as implementing and managing big data and analytics, virtualization, data protection and business continuity, and databases. Adrian’s expertise and leadership will be pivotal in driving sales, channel growth and expansion of the customer base across Latin America for INFINIDAT.”

Prior to joining INFINIDAT, Flores-Serafin served in storage technologist and global sales leadership roles at IBM and XIV (purchased by IBM in 2008). He previously worked at EMC as a Senior Solutions Architect. Earlier in his career, Flores-Serafin held the positions of senior storage architect with Novus Consulting Group and senior integration specialist with Dell/Perot Systems.

“With a deep knowledge of the storage needs of the local marketplace, and an innovative, cost-saving, disruptive enterprise storage platform, we are better able to solve the data storage needs of local companies,” said Flores-Serafin. “Our presence in the region well-positions us to meet the demand of Latin American enterprises for reliable, scalable and cost-efficient storage. We are already demonstrating how InfiniBox goes beyond addressing data management challenges to dramatically lowering the total cost of ownership for storage.”
