Infinidat Strengthens its Leadership in Enterprise Storage with a Slew of Awards and Recognition in Q1 2023

Infinidat went into 2023 going head-to-head against our competitors for the right to claim technological leadership in enterprise storage technologies. We embrace every challenge, knowing that our enterprise cyber resilient storage solutions have set a new standard in the industry.

Winning key awards sets the table for the rest of the year as it provides 3rd party validation of the value of solutions in the marketplace. The result of this extensive volume of 3rd party validations/awards is a radical shifting and revision of the top storage vendors on the shortlists of large organizations looking at enterprise storage solutions.

We knew that Infinidat had a powerful case for continuing to earn high marks and accolades that would shine a spotlight on Infinidat’s latest innovations. However, the caliber, reach and impact of the industry-leading awards and recognition that Infinidat has already gotten in Q1 of 2023 has even exceeded our expectations.

It’s admirable for a solutions provider to win one Gold award from TechTarget in one of the most prestigious global award programs in the storage industry, but it’s unique for a storage solution provider to win two Gold awards from TechTarget in a single year, but Infinidat did exactly that.

In January, TechTarget gave top Product of the Year honors to two Infinidat solutions that have redefined enterprise primary storage, backup, and cyber storage resilience. Infinidat’s InfiniBox™ SSA II – an all-flash storage array – was selected as the “Gold Winner” in the Storage Product of the Year “The Best Enterprise Storage Arrays” category, while Infinidat’s InfiniGuard® solution was named the “Gold Winner” in the Storage Product of the Year “The Top Backup and Disaster Recovery Services” category.

  • The InfiniBox SSA II is the industry’s fastest all-flash storage array with unprecedented 35 microseconds of latency, allowing enterprise customers to obtain optimal real-world application and workload performance, simplify substantial storage consolidation, increase efficiency, and dramatically reduce CAPEX and OPEX.
  • The InfiniGuard is a purpose-built appliance designed to ensure that enterprises and service providers are protected against ransomware, malware, internal cyber threats and other potential cyberattacks.

But that’s not all. In February, the storage industry analyst firm DCIG named Infinidat’s InfiniBox SSA II / InfiniBox® as one of the world’s top 5 high-end storage arrays. Being named one of the top 5 high-end storage arrays demonstrates Infinidat’s focus on the business and technical values essential to large enterprise storage deployments. Ken Clipperton, DCIG Lead Analyst for Storage, noted:

“Large enterprises look to high-end storage arrays to provide a combination of high performance, high availability, cyber storage resilience, and comprehensive enterprise data services for all their business-critical data. The all-flash InfiniBox SSA II and hybrid InfiniBox arrays showcase Infinidat’s thorough understanding of these requirements, including guaranteed recoveries in less than one minute.”

The InfiniBox and InfiniBox SSA II platforms for enterprise primary storage deployments are not only the most cyber resilient and most reliable storage solutions in the industry, but also the highest performing. Additionally, from the earliest InfiniBox installations, Infinidat has earned a reputation for product quality and reliability from an enterprise community that has zero tolerance for downtime.

Adding fuel to the award-winning momentum, the IT analyst firm GigaOm recognized Infinidat as a Leader and an Outperformer in primary storage for large enterprises. Infinidat is distinguished for its innovation and a software-defined storage platform approach that combines high capacity, scalability, flexible consumption models, advanced cyber storage resilience, and real-world application performance.

Let’s face it: Infinidat is the most innovative enterprise storage solution provider among the eight vendors in the GigaOm Radar report on primary storage, earning our distinction along the lines of ‘Innovation’ and ‘Platform Play’ on the analyst chart. The significant expansion of Infinidat’s solution portfolio for enterprises over the past year with the successful market launch of our next-generation solid-state array has reinforced our leadership position and gives large enterprises a viable alternative to the older-generation vendors with more complex offerings.

In a joint public statement, GigaOm’s analysts Max Mortillaro and Arjan Timmerman said:

“Primary storage for large enterprises has changed in a transition phase characterized by the fact that flexibility, ease of use and cost no longer have to be sacrificed for high performance, availability and resiliency the way they were in past years. Today, enterprises can have it all without compromise because of the rise of hybrid solutions.”

What we are doing with storage-as-a-service, AIOps integration, NVMe support and cyber storage resilience - all at considerably lower CAPEX and OPEX - are game-changing for the enterprise market. And we are doing it through a software-defined approach to storage.

Infinidat was, also, recently ranked as one of the top 500 software companies in the world, according to The Software Report, which published their list of the Power 500 Software Companies of 2023 in January. The Power 500 Software Companies award is recognition of Infinidat’s competitive position in the enterprise storage market based on its broad and technically deep software-defined-storage approach.

Happily, Infinidat’s channel partners have access to sell these award-winning solutions. To support these partners, Infinidat has a 5-star channel partner program. On March 27th, CRN, a brand of The Channel Company and the world’s largest channel centric publication, announced that Infinidat had earned a 5-Star Rating for our channel partner program. For the second consecutive year, Infinidat’s Channel Partner Program has been recognized by CRN with the prestigious 5-Star Rating as a world-class, comprehensive partner program.

Top IT solution providers trust Infinidat to deliver, not only award-winning, innovative enterprise cyber resilient storage solutions and superior business value for their enterprise storage customers, but also expert training, technical enablement, educational resources, marketing strength, and pre- and post-sales support. We have designed a program that empowers our partners to be successful in today’s competitive enterprise environment.

Infinidat’s channel program is led in the Americas by an experienced storage industry professional who won a prestigious award in early 2023. CRN named Mitch Diodato, Senior Director of Channel Sales for the Americas, to its 2023 Channel Chiefs list in February. Diodato helped contribute to the elevation of Infinidat’s channel partner program as a 5-star rated program and to the January 2023 launch of Infinidat’s new Infuziast Certification program. This was the 2nd year in a row that Infinidat was recognized with a Channel Chief award.

All of these awards and exceptional recognition drive home a much more important point: Infinidat has become the storage solutions standard in the enterprise, delivering industry-leading innovative storage solutions to meet today’s most demanding workloads.
