5 Reasons 2022 Was a Breakthrough Year for Infinidat

2022 has been a powerful year for Infinidat. The company kicked off the year accelerating its double digit growth, coming off a 40% year-over-year bookings increase in 2021. And it ends the 2022 strong with a treasure trove of industry accolades and escalating buzz among enterprises, channel partners, and service providers who recognize Infinidat as a leader in enterprise storage solutions.

This year has virtually been “a year of 5’s” for us: emerging as one of the Top 5 storage-as-a-service (STaaS) solution providers in the world; offering 5 guaranteed SLAs; scoring a 5-star rating for Infinidat’s channel partner program, and solidifying our company on the short list for enterprise storage procurement with the 5th year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage. To put it all in perspective, the following are 5 reasons that this year has been a powerful time in the company’s history:

First, Infinidat launched the InfiniBox™ SSA II, the storage industry’s fastest flash system. It rolled out a new version InfiniGuard®, along with new security technology, called InfiniSafe®, that has revolutionized cyber storage resilience. The company also made significant enhancements to the InfiniBox® platform for primary storage, as well as to the InfiniGuard solution for modern data protection. Infinidat set a new standard for preparedness in the face of increasingly dangerous cyberattacks.

Second, Infinidat took the IT industry by storm in 2022 with its new guaranteed SLAs for cyber recovery, immutable snapshots, and high performance, building on its long-standing track record of delivering a 100% availability guarantee. It included the industry’s first cyber storage resilience guarantee on primary storage. This dramatic expansion of its guaranteed SLAs further differentiates Infinidat from the competition and helped spark strong growth among cloud service providers (CSPs), managed service providers (MSPs), managed hosting providers (MHPs) and enterprises. The guarantees are across Infinidat’s broad portfolio of solutions, including the InfiniBox, InfiniBox SSA II and InfiniGuard platforms.

Third, Infinidat earned over 25 awards and industry recognitions in 2022. Just a few highlights: early in the year, the InfiniBox SSA was named one of the best enterprise storage arrays of the year by TechTarget. In the summer, the InfiniBox SSA II received the “Most Innovative Hyperscaler Implementation Award” at the 2022 Flash Memory Summit. The company also won three accolades at the SDC Awards in the UK in November.

Fourth, the analyst community recognized the uniqueness of Infinidat and our solutions more than ever. Infinidat was named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage for a fifth year. But there’s more: storage analyst firm DCIG named Infinidat as one of the top 5 storage-as-a-service solutions in the world. In addition, GigaOm recognized us as an industry leader in ransomware protection for block storage.

Last but not least, Infinidat elevated its game for the benefit of our channel partners. We invested significantly in our channel partner program and strengthened our relationships within the channel, through which we sell close to 90% of our products. For the first time ever, CRN gave the Infinidat Channel Partner Program a 5-star rating. Infinidat also hit the CRN Storage 100, a prestigious list that the channel uses as a reference guide. Infinidat also handed out its own Channel Partner Awards, recognizing partners who demonstrate the ability to increase engagement and drive powerful business value from Infinidat’s portfolio of industry acclaimed solutions. (We will be recognizing partners in 2023, too, especially those channel partners who finish this year strong.)
