gain industry leadership recognition, what's their secret?"

As Cybersecurity Awareness Month winds down, I am stunned at the feedback I have been receiving on my daily social media posts about cybersecurity and cyber storage resilience and recovery. An awakening is happening that serious changes are underway in the cyber threat landscape − just as there is a realization that too many enterprises have not seen their cybersecurity measures work as effectively as they expected because they left out a critical piece: the cybersecurity of their enterprise storage.

Cybercriminals are breaking records for all the wrong − and sinister − reasons. Publicized ransomware attacks increased by nearly 50% in the first half of 2023, compared to the first six months of last year, according to data from Blackfog. The month of July saw one of the highest numbers of ransomware attacks this year, with well over 400 attacks causing damage and disruption.

Now in its ninth year, Tech Tackles Cancer has raised over $3 million for organizations that advance cancer research and support pediatric patients with outreach programs. Infinidat is a Gold Sponsor of Tech Tackles Cancer Boston.

"No one would dispute that Information technology has become the backbone of
commerce. As IT’s power and presence have expanded, companies have come to
view it as a resource ever more critical to their success."

I was on my way to participate in a cybersecurity panel discussion to talk about the importance of cyber storage resilience being critical to an enterprise’s corporate security strategy when one of the other participants stopped me. He was practically shocked that I was on a cybersecurity panel because he considered me “a long-time enterprise storage guy,” which I am. He found it odd and quite funny.
